Pronunciation in English

H Sounds in English

The “h” sound is a voiceless sound that comes from the air that flows naturally from your mouth. Some students don’t pronounce the “h” properly, or they may try to avoid it entirely and concentrate on the vowel sound that follows it. People who speak some form of French might do this. If you have trouble with this sound, watch the video and repeat after me.
